Get ready to dive into the world of fashion, entertainment, and gaming with the latest phygital collectible dubbed KodaPendant from NFT giant Yuga Labs and luxury brand Gucci. This is the result of their recent partnership aimed at bridging the physical and digital realms.
The KodaPendant is the first piece released within the ‘Otherside Relic by Gucci’ series of physical Gucci products combined with matching NFTs tied with the storyline of Otherside.
The first ‘Relic’ in the form of the lux pendant, being both a physical piece of jewelry and an NFT, will be up for grabs on April 6th. A total of 3,333 KodaPendants will become available for purchase with ApeCoin. Each NFT will cost 450 APE, which is worth $1,948.5 at the time of writing.
It’s worth noting that the KodaPendant is dedicated to Vessel and Koda NFT Holders, meaning that an exclusive piece will be available to them only. Yuga Labs also shared that 10K Koda NFTs were embedded among the 100K Otherdeeds released last year. All of which to say that every Otherdeed holder is entitled to claim a Vessel NFT, thus grabbing the KodaPendant.
A physical version of the Koda-shaped pendant will be available for redemption through a Gucci webpage this summer. Made of 925 sterling silver, each piece of jewelry will come in the shape of a Koda alien, inscribed with ‘GG’, standing for ‘good game’ among gamers, and also inscribed with a unique edition number on the back.
Aside from a unique piece of jewelry, the KodaPendant will unlock a range of exclusive perks for holders, for example, some cosmetic options for Otherside avatars, set to launch this summer.
