Sitting below New Zealand's highest mountain, Aoraki Mt Cook, I was waiting for the sun to set. High winds in the alps were creating interesting cloud formations. Suddenly, a bird formed on the peak of Aoraki –- and in a split second, it was gone. The tui is a mystical and spiritual bird for the local Maori people, it acts as a messenger from the heavens. Capturing this tui cloud was a once-in-a-universe experience, and is probably the world's rarest photograph.
