WITHOUT RETINA CONES is a collaboration with the Italian photographer Herbert Mazzanti. It shows the nature as could be seen by an animal not capable of perceiving colors (horses, bulls, rats, etc.). The 122 images have been taken in different places like Canada, the USA, or Europe. These pictures are the result of some years traveling abroad.
First idea came years ago while seeing a documentary about the vision of different animals. Thinking about how lucky we humans are for having 3D full color vision, I started to imagine how the reality would be perceived by other life forms. The final pictures shown on the collection, demonstrate that nature can be awesome and beauty even if is black and white.
Among black and white pictures there are some others in full color to avoid your eye getting used to monochromatic images. Go to these pictures every time you feel your eye is saturated of grey color.
The collection is hosted in Ethereum blockchain and can be found at Opensea marketplace. It will be listed next 05-02-2022 at 1pm (UTC, GMT+0). Prices will start with 0.05ETH.

Some other ideas for future collections are also under consideration, but for the moment are just only concepts…
