Once you belong to the army of Banksy fans, you are likely to know about the artist’s early works and collaborations in the 2000s. Today, twenty years later, together with one of the artist’s lifelong fellow partners, hip-hop and mixtapes icons, BADMEANiNGOOD Crew, a joint NFT collection is being released.

This friendship roots back to the early 2000s when BADMEANiNGOOD's bossman Austin Wilde and the band were releasing jungle, dubstep, grime, and good old hip-hop albums. At this time, a rising graffiti star Banksy was asked to produce four album covers and posters for the Crew and an additional 12" sleeve for the 2002–2003 releases.

Now, around two decades after, the truly rare records and artworks, are invaluable and much sought-after by both Banksy's and BADMEANiNGOOD's fans. Thus, to reward the most avid connoisseurs and make Banksy available to wider audiences, the NFT marketplace MakersPlase is releasing a couple of iterations of Wilde’s compilation series featuring Banksy’s designs as NFTs. These artworks were commissioned by Austin Wild, who was awarded the rights for the designs by Banksy himself.

The first drop consists of five one-of-one NFTs featuring an animated Vinyl Remix Record NFT and four Poster NFTs. The Vinyl 12": Roots Manuva x The Beatles: Yellow Submarine NFT will be put up for auction while the Posters will have stable prices. The winner of the auction will also receive the physical Vinyl 12” Remix record, an O.G sticker, and a second edition 50x70cm Roots Manuva poster stamped and signed by Wilde.

Minters of the Posters will also benefit from grabbing a unique 60x40 inch 'blueback' poster, which is known to be the largest on the open market.

Moreover, the NFT initiative bears a charitable value, as both Wilde and MakersPlace will donate 10% of their sales proceeds to M.O.A.S Mission Ukraine – an NGO that delivers medical and humanitarian aid to Ukrainians affected by the russian aggression

Pay tribute to the legendary epoch of the early 2000s and add totally one-of-a-kind memorabilia of Banksy’s authorship to your physical and NFT collections.
