With his It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot of 1998, DMX reached not only the top charts but won the hearts of millions of his fans. His fanbase is huge and if not his sad demise in April this year, it would be even bigger. Thus, Dark Man X's collection of previously unreleased work is introduced to the public as NFTs, including five late tracks, handwritten lyrics from X’s rhyme book, a freestyle, photos, and more.
The collection is being released in partnership with Melanated NFT Gallery by the Master's longtime collaborator and friend, DJ Superior. Melanated NFT Gallery is a Black and female-owned tech startup aimed at “giving creators from the global African and Afro+Latinx diaspora an opportunity to capitalize from their creations by offering limited edition, exclusive digital collectibles in the form of Non-fungible Tokens (NFTs) or Crypto-Art.”
