The original recipes for the world’s best-loved Italian dishes, interpreted by the best chefs
The first food media brand in Italy brings you the first limited-edition NFT collection dedicated to the greats of Italian cuisine: 15 digital works certify, for the first time, original recipes for the world’s best-loved Italian dishes. The most iconic dishes from all over Italy, prepared in the Giallozafferano kitchens by some of the most successful chefs on the international scene, have been minted in the Metaverse. A project in support of the Banco Alimentare food bank charity.
NFTs as a way to preserve Italian cuisine
The most iconic dishes from all over Italy, from top to bottom, prepared in the Giallozafferano kitchens by some of the most successful chefs on the national scene, are then photographed by Marianna Santoni, a leading artist in digital photography at international level, and finally transformed into a limited-edition NFT: buyers will receive a numbered and certified token for one of the most well-known and cherished Italian recipes.
The endorsement of high-end chefs
The first four recipes have been created by four exceptional chefs: Risotto alla Milanese (Milanese-style risotto) by the two-Michelin-starred Alessandro Negrini, traditional Tiramisù by Frau Knam and the special version by Ernest Knam, the authentic Pizza Margherita by world champion Davide Civitiello and Carbonara by Luciano Monosilio, the chef who has turned this recipe into an haute-cuisine dish.
Specifics and redeemable
QUANTITY
99 NFTs will be minted for each recipe, of which 98 will be put on sale and one given to whoever guarantees the originality of the recipe (chef, gastronome, or institution).
The owner will be able to read the original recipe the chef has created.
BENEFIT REDEEMABLE ONCE
A special virtual masterclass for the NFT owners to learn all of the secrets behind the perfect dish, directly from the chef. The NFT owners will also have the chance to come to the Giallozafferano studios in Milan and visit the most famous kitchens in Italy.

An exclusive project, carried out in cooperation with OMD, the Omnicom Group’s digital unit, and developed together with Acta Fintech, a consultancy specializing in NFTs, that has been created with a twofold aim: to bring innovation to the food industry by minting the most authentic recipes featuring its products and guaranteeing the authenticity through blockchain technology, and to give back to the community by supporting Banco Alimentare to provide food to those in need thanks to donating part of the proceeds.
