Endless photo patterns about garbage & recycling, 2021
In Russia the attitude to garbage collection is just starts to change. Environmental movements for recycling have only recently begun to gain popularity. Althought in Moscow a separate fee has been introduced in 2020, people are still not used to it and fail to understand why it is necessary. This project helps to rethink some types of waste. By arranging them into ornaments, I show that these things are beautiful in their own way, while reflecting a transitional moment in our history. We are moving from one-time consumption to conscious consumption.
