Every Grifter needs someone.
The Griftettes are the muses, partners, lovers, and accomplices imagined alongside XCOPY's Grifters. A feminine cast conjured from the noise of the network: public-image ghosts and seductive fragments drawn from a culture that consumes its own image as fast as it forgets it.
The collection extends Masnah's Noosphere into 666 generative works of algorithmic collage, printed matter, and digital decay. Each piece begins by pulling images apart — breaking the layered, stacked picture back into fragments then lets an algorithm reassemble them into something new.
The idea underneath is simple: every picture online is already a copy of a copy, a small con we all agree to believe.
The Griftettes don't hide that they take the image apart, hand the pieces to the machine, and let the seam show. And the mark, of course, is you.
