After her first The Roar Package sold out in minutes, the pop superstar Katy Perry is back on the track with the new NFT collection. As before, the singer is dropping her NFTs on ThetaDrop, Theta Network’s eco-friendly NFT marketplace.
The collection, dubbed The Witness Dice, commemorates the star's wave-making 2017-2018 Witness Tour. The collection is split into 3 subseries, including King of Hearts limited edition, a 1/1 Golden Die Prop, and Cherry Blossom Breeze open edition. On March 4th, the pop icon and ThetaDrop auctioned off the first part of The Witness Dice, namely 2,500 King of Hearts NFTs, featuring Perry singing Roulette. Although King of Hearts tokens sold out at $100, you can purchase them on ThetaDrop’s secondary market.
Besides, this series is listed as utility tokens. Each King of Hearts provides access to Perry’s exclusive Nostalgia Store, which will open with the launch of the 3rd collection.
The second part of the collection, dubbed Cherry Blossom Breeze, is now available for secondary sales as well. The commemorative NFTs feature a video where the pop icon is smelling the cherry blossom while on her tour to Japan and come with the lowest ask of $38.
And finally comes the centerpiece of The Witness Dice collection. The 1/1 Golden Die Prop NFT will be on auction until March 25th. In addition to the token, the winning bidder will also get one of two exclusive physical dice cubes, standing on which Katty Perry performed her concerts.
Katty Perry's The Roar Package had flown off the shelves like hotcakes in 95 minutes, while the initial sales hit $1.2 million. That's why there's no doubt that The Witness Dice will overperform even the boldest predictions.
