How 5 Tweets became 4 Tweeds – a story of friendship!
One upon the time, over 17 years ago, the 5 Tweets were the best of friends, and nothing could separate them. But on 03/21/06 the Blue Tweet shocked the others because he wanted to work from that day on. On that day Jack Dorsey wrote the words “just setting up my twttr.” The rest is web history. The 4 remaining Tweets never saw their friend again and were very sad about it. After a full month of mourning, the Spirit of St. Tweed appeared to them. Since then, the hearts of the 4 Tweeds are filled with love. To commemorate this special day, they celebrate 4/20 every year.
This year they want to celebrate with you. So come and get your own Tweed. The Tweeds is not a mint like any other. There will be 4 mints going on at the same time. There will be 16,800 Tweeds in total. 8,400 of them for free (only gas costs and a mint fee if applicable).
There will be no whitelist or anything like that. Everyone has the chance to mint up to 5 tweeds per color. 200 of every Tweed will be minted to the Tweeds wallet. Behind each Tweed is a secret that will be revealed in the next weeks. Some may even appear the Spirit of St. Tweed itself.
