Adidas announces "Into the Metaverse" NFT launch alongside streetwear drop, following the teaser of its collaboration with skyrocketing Bored Ape Yacht Club, Pixel Vault’s Punks Comic, and crypto investor Gmoney. Well, now, Adidas has finally announced the release date - December 17, allowing all virtual wearables holders to The Sandbox blockchain-based gaming world. NFT buyers will also have access to exclusive merch drops, including a hoodie with a blockchain address, a tracksuit, and Gmoney’s iconic orange beanie.
The path "Into the Metaverse" will cost you 0.2 ETH per NFT. Go mint your exclusives, as the intrigue on how many items exactly the streetwear giant will drop, is still unveiled.
“There will be other experiences we’re putting together,” Erika Wykes-Sneyd, VP of marketing for Adidas Originals. “The intent is this thing, this NFT, you belong to a community, and we continue to add value to that over time, and it’s gonna also evolve with what we’re learning about the community how they’re changing and evolving.”
