After the Stoner Cats surreal NFT series made a splash last year, their creator, iconic American actress Mila Kunis, is about to reveal her new non-fungible project. And, yes, it is going to be another NFT cartoon series produced by the actress' studio Sixth Wall in partnership with Web3 animation studio Toonstar.
The most inspiring thing about Mila Kunis' novice NFT sitcom titled The Gimmicks is that it offers maximum involvement in the project, as NFT owners will take part in the series creation.
Although The Gimmicks is a cartoon, you'd better take your kids away from the screens as it's truly gutsy! The nontrivial plot, telling the story of the retired wrestlers who are jumping through hoops to get back on the ring, is rich in black humor, satire, and fun.
The Toonstar CEO John Attanasio comments on The Gimmicks as if "South Park meets WWE, but interactive and greasier.” The WWE fans will surely recognize the voices of the legendary wrestler, including Luke “Doc” Gallows and Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson. Besides, the top-ranking scriptwriters of the cult Family Guy and Star Trek: Lower Decks will take a hand in the storyline.
In addition to voting on the storylines for the next episode, The Gimmicks NFT holders will benefit from being the first series viewers, which they will be discussing in the fandom community of like-minders. The new season will be available to the public on a weekly basis after the community members voice their creative ideas.
The Gimmicks NFTs on the Solana blockchain with the supply of about 10,000 in total are dropping on March 18th via The Gimmicks website. Each token will feature one project's character.
