Ukraine today is a symbol of freedom, courage, bravery, perseverance and beauty for the whole world. Being a Ukrainian is an honor and a pride. It has always been so for us, now so will be for everyone in this world. Ukrainians are talented and strong in character, this cannot be taken away from us.
Since the beginning of the war, every Ukrainian artist has experienced a range of emotions. We have changed and our art will no longer remain as it was until February 24, 2022. We are at the beginning of rethinking the content and meaning of our paintings. Even what was created before the war has acquired new meanings, so they must be fixed and reflected.
Each artwork (and mine is no exception) is reminiscent of this "before". About our prosperous world, a carefree present filled with travel, faith in the future, dreams. All that was taken for granted - the children's smile, their happy eyes, the peaceful life of Ukrainians and the blue sky overhead, all this remained "before".
We wake up every day believing in victory, making every effort to make it happen today. And then - our "tomorrow" will gain new meaning. Another. Artworks painted before the war will regain their significance. Full of will, strength, independence. Glory to Ukraine!
