TerraMorphz by iRyanBell is a collection of 143 beings who are older than time itself, as unlikely as that is.
Time, naturally, has disputed this.
Before time, there was attention. Before attention, there was possibility. Before possibility, there was love, waiting patiently.
Not romantic love, necessarily. Not the kind with flowers, tragic songs, and ill-advised messages sent after midnight. Something older. Wider. Stranger.
Love is not merely human. Love is the organizing principle of everything that chooses connection over collapse.
And then came the universe. A vast, inconveniently large experiment in becoming.
Stars arrived first, showing off. Planets followed, cooling down just enough to grow oceans, forests, temples, traffic, loneliness, and very small creatures with very large opinions. Life appeared in every possible disguise: scaled, luminous, soft-skinned, antennaed, armored, transparent, fashionable, unfashionable, and occasionally wearing hats for no obvious evolutionary reason.
Across the universe, every species eventually asks the same questions:
- Who am I?
- Why am I here?
- Is anyone else out there?
- Am I late?
- Am I wearing existence correctly?
The number 143, on Earth, became a code for I love you. One letter. Four letters. Three letters. A tiny numerical container for one of the largest forces in existence.
TerraMorphz are not here to invade. Invasion is tedious and usually involves paperwork. They are not here to save humanity either, because saving a species that insists on learning everything the hard way is considered a long-term project with no guaranteed lunch break.
They came to remind us.
The universe is not empty. Difference is not distance. Strangeness is not separation. Every face is a mask worn by the same impossible mystery. And somehow, against all reasonable odds, the mystery appears to be smiling.
