Two colors, one hero from a lost future, only 1/1 editions. Space is a place for singularities!
This project was born from the creation of an illustration for a client. I had to represent "magnetic fields" in black and white, in the simplest way possible, and in a retro-futuristic style inspired by space travel. These constraints pushed me to look for visual solutions that gave birth to a style inspired by the old illustrations produced in silk-screen printing: a mixture of solid colors with lined and dotted screens but empowered by the possibilities that modern 3d creation offers.
This graphic and impactful style is particularly well adapted to the representation of space: everything is either fully illuminated or pitch black, no diffuse shadows, no gradients. So I decided to explore it through images inspired by our fantasies about space travel: the immensity and infinite power of its elements, the loneliness of Man lost in a universe too big for his comprehension, the many discoveries that this journey stretched in time can offer.
Where no man has gone before, or to infinity and beyond, let's see where the journey will take us!
