The legendary Smiley by the iconic graffiti artist André Saraiva is turning 50 years old. To celebrate the big anniversary, the Swedish-French artist teamed up with the streetwear retailer Urban Outfitters and the web3 developers from North&Touth Entertainment Group to create 500 exclusive Smiley x André Saraiva NFTs.
The upcoming NFT collection will feature the Smiley logo reproduced in different ways. In addition to being all one-of-a-kind art pieces, the non-fungible Smileys will be backed up with utility to guarantee valuable rewards to their holders in the long run.
The NFT collection by André Saraiva is dropping on April 8th at 5 am EST on the OMGDrops NFT marketplace at 0.2 ETH per unit. A favorable surprise for André's fans will be the appearance of his iconic graffiti character on Smiley Collectors’ Editions homeware and fashion pieces by Urban Outfitters. Those physical apparel pieces will be available for purchase both online and in the brand's physical stores.

NFT ticket holders will be able to redeem unique access to UO, including one-of-a-kind collectibles, special perks, and new rewards," the Urban Outfitters representatives commented on the Jubilee Smiley NFT collection.
Thus, the most valuable perks and rewards awaiting the NFT holders are: a chance to win £1000 to spend online at Urban Outfitters (the winner will be airdropped custom (2 of 5) digital collectible art pieces by André Saraiva), 7 signed Smiley posters, a custom skateboard, and beyond.
Moreover, Urban Outfitters announced that the brand's share in the NFT sales will be donated to Free Movement Skateboarding, a sponsored NGO partner to THE SKATEROOM. This is a group of influential artists engaged in funding international skate and education nonprofits and projects. The Free Movement Skateboarding, in its turn, is an Athens-based NGO, which motivates and empowers both migrant and local children through skateboarding via their mobile skatepark.
