Big sports are gradually going digital, and the NFL is no exception. Thus, the National Football League is bringing more fun and engagement to its fans by launching the NFT collection dubbed Rarity League.
The whole collection with 2,500 helmets for each of the 32 teams will be available through a series of launches. After the mega-successful initial drop in August, the next NFL-licensed NFT series, featuring 30 remaining teams with 708 fan-inspired 3D helmets per team, will go live on November 15th at 0.14 ETH apiece. The Football League digital collectibles boast over 500 traits, which define their rarities, including team-specific features, backgrounds, and animations. The rarity tiers include: common, rare, epic, and legendary.
The collection will be released in batches, with the helmets to be revealed right after the mint. Each NFT comes as some sort of a pass to special events, in-game rewards, and other perks.
The collectibles will be released in partnership with the NFL Rivals arcade NFT game, where they are used as avatars. Each card is playable in the NFL Rivals NFLPA officially licensed blockchain game, which is scheduled for launch in 2023.
The game offers bonus rewards for those who mint a couple of Rarity League NFTs at once. Thus, holders of three Rarity League NFTs will get the Rivals Reward Token, while the minters of five will get two Rewards Tokens! The offer is limited in time and will be available through November 21st. Every Rivals Reward Token will guarantee the redemption of a Founder's Edition Player Card. The game will airdrop Rewards Tokens to the collector’s wallets before December.
The gameplay will allow users to claim a Guild to recruit top players and compete for rewards. After claiming their own Guild, gamers will be rewarded with additional benefits, including NFL player cards, tokens, and resources.
As it goes with the Sorare web3 sports game, NFL rivals will be offering players to buy NFL Rivals NFTs to later collect their NFL dream teams. While playing the game, users will gain access to exclusive competitions with generous rewards such as rare NFTs, collectible items, and resources. And, of course, each Rarity League holder will also get early access to NFL Rival’s private Beta.
