Iconic Japanese streetwear brand BAPE is celebrating its 30th anniversary! To mark this milestone, BAPE teamed with Adidas Originals to launch a collection of exclusive sneakers, dubbed Forum 84 BAPE Low Triple-White. The series will feature both physical and digital kicks limited to only 100 editions.
The lateral upper of these sneakers prominently displays BAPE's iconic shooting star design, accompanied by the "A Bathing Ape" logo embossed in shiny silver foil. Additionally, each pair comes with an NFT Chip placed on the left tongue. It allows collectors to verify the authenticity of the sneakers.
The upcoming drop will follow an innovative format. The process starts with getting one of 100 The Adidas Originals x BAPE ‘Fresh Forum’ access pass NFT to later redeem it for the pair of physical shoes and also get their digital twin.
The NFTs will be auctioned off on the Adidas COLLECT platform starting on August 22nd and running for three days until August 25th. The auction is open to everyone with a starting bid price of 0.3 ETH ( approx. $550 in current prices). Redemptions will take place on September 26th via the Adidas COLLECT website. Shipment of the physical sneakers starts in October.
