On November 27, 2021, Pacifique Niyokwizera was too victimized by a system in which systemic racism is rampant.
Police officers carried out an unjustified arrest after no charges were brought against him, in which he was punched and kicked absolutely for nothing.
We are talking here of gratuitous violence since Pacific had already been subdued on the ground by four police officers and a civilian who wanted to “help out” the police. Lots of elements demonstrate an abuse of power and an arrest that absolutely does not respect the constitutional rights of each individual.
