My Mage (is better than your mage) is a collection of 9,999 randomly generated NFT stat cards, spell-cast from thousands of possible combinations. Each mage wields one of six Sources of Power and is affiliated to one of six Schools of Magic.
A Mage's power is indicated by two classes of primary statistics; three representing damage, and three for utility. Although part of the creator's intention is for the cards to evoke memories of youthful bragging rights: "My Mages Intellect beats your Mages Charisma!" etc, the rarity of the cards is not purely based on "big numbers", after all, a terminally inept Rincewind scoring 1 out of 10 on each primary stat, would be equally as rare as a Balrog crushing Mithrandir rocking full 10's.
The NFT's were created by an ordinary bloke who enjoyed countless hours growing up with: Baldur's Gate, Discworld, 'Choose your own Adventure books & Tolkein, whose quest is to bring some old-school fantasy nostalgia to the Blockchain.
