This animated GIF is based on a mixed media artwork that was featured in my exhibition at Good Neighbor's Gallery in Kagoshima, Japan in January 2021. This work was originally created using hand-drawn elements along with founding paper, and traditional media such as paint. The works in this series were a departure from digital media and an exploration of the rediscovery of tactile, hands-on creation. It's exciting to take these works full circle, incorporating technology in the timelessly relevant GIF format. *Unlockable Content includes; MP4 and MOV files of the original animations. This gif animation with unlockable content is the first in a series and is being released on OpenSea.
