Web3-focused vintage clothing brand MNTGE is blurring the boundaries between the realms of fashion, blockchain, and traditional art with its latest collection. The clothing company teamed up with 11 multifaceted artists to create the fashion series dubbed MNTGE Patchwork. Coldie, Jen Stark, Mad Dog Jones, Olive Allen, and other talents have worked on the Patchwork NFT collection.
Each artist created a unique patch using his preferences and artistic techniques. All patches come first as NFTs. Artists may include personal autographs on patches, which will be recorded digitally with a simple finger swipe. A physical version of each patch will be redeemable in August 2023 and participants have a month to claim the physical piece. The physical counterpart will portray different manufacturing techniques, such as detailed embroidery, hand stitching, and vibrant color sublimation. Each patch comes with an NFC chip that can be scanned to verify its authenticity.
Starting July 27th, 7650 patches will be available for purchase for 0.07 ETH per piece while the date of reveal is August 2nd. Holders of MNTGE’s previous NFTs will have one-hour early access to engage in the sale. There will be a limited 50 patches up for grabs for MNTGE’s Day One pass holders and 100 patches for Friends and Family pass holders.
MNTGE Patchwork also features Club Eleven. Participants who get all patch designs from 11 artists will belong to this club and receive the “ultimate grail” – a vintage denim Star Jacket with each patch craftily hand-stitched on the surface of the jacket. The physical product will be redeemable on a yet-to-be-announced date.
