Marte cansado de la guerra is a figurative artwork in wich we can see an old man who looks at us with a certain shyness and who is clearly the opposite of what usually represents the Roman God of war. Mars is represented as a warrior with armor and a crested helmet, red color, the wolf... In this picture all that disappears, he is presented devoid of all symbols, making his image less powerful. The image of a brave warrior has changed to that of a tired old man.
The colors chosen for this picture try to remind those of the Ukrainian flag, making referfence to a country immersed in the war in the same year that this drawing is created.
