What is MarkerFrens?
MarkerFrens is a series of abstract blobs inspired by the simple marker pen. What started as basic doodle faces on paper ended up as a series of 1200 frens with many accessories and traits.
Who are we?
Markerfrens was built by us (two NFT enthusiasts)! After collecting and following the success of many other projects in the space, we wanted to use our own artistic vision, challenging ourselves to make a one-of-a-kind series of NFTs that are quirky and not too serious.
How were these artworks created?
The faces started out as simple doodles that later became digital versions on abstract bodies. Each trait has then been produced by hand, digitalized and later generated using code to produce 1200 MarkerFrens that are totally unique. We ourselves didn't know exactly what would come out of the generator! That's part of the fun. Just like Forrest Gump said; "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."
What's your roadmap and vision for this project?
MarkerFrens is a playful, fun hand drawn collection of NFTs. But we aren't planning to stop here! Many more characters are on the way. Some are even in production right now as we speak.
