MareBears are interactive 3D digital pets that are managed within an app. You can interact with your MareBear from any device: pet, feed, and take care of it in Tamagotchi style. MareBears are fully customizable, allowing buy, trade, and create characteristics, known as ‘BearParts.’
The supply of MareBears is 15,000 items with each creature having 13 trait slots that make possible maximum customization and rarity hacking. MareBears themselves are ERC-6551 tokens, while ‘BearParts’ are ERC-6059 tokens, providing owners with comprehensive customization capabilities. The modifications of the bear’s body are possible with the transmuter that morphs it around the traits. The 3D mesh changes based on what an owner has equipped his bear with, rather than a simple overlay of images.
Overall, there are 21 MareBear DNA elements. Each bear is made of a pairing of 2 elements. However, there are 10 Sacred Grails, unique bears formed from a single, pure element.
Paris Hilton, Ubisoft, Gremplin, and bunnyHEAD are the collaborators of the first release, meaning that a range of traits and accessories created by these personalities will be randomly allocated to your bear. As we have already mentioned, they can later be swapped and traded separately.
MareBears are not only VRM avatar-ready and exclusive toys but also they generate Transmutium, a distinct currency used within the RSTLSS ecosystem for trading and interaction.
The launch of MareBears won’t be limited to one release. The team behind the project plans to have a series of collabs, driven by the goal of introducing new IP through advanced technologies such as fully composable digital collectibles, interoperable avatars, and beyond.
