Lost to History is a collection of artworks from throughout history, each one depicting a lonely, lost little monster. Each featured artwork is sourced from reputable museums’ open access databases. Artists featured include Van Gogh, Renoir, Degas, and more.
Each monster adapts to their respective scene in their own way, some more interactive and engaged with their surroundings than others. The idea of being lost goes hand in hand with the contrasting styles and subjects; the monsters know that they don’t belong in these spaces, but rather than give up they try to make do or keep searching for a place where they fit in.
