La vie en slices is a growing NFT collection offered by Norway-based, Indian poet Ankur, whose debut poetry collection The Four Colors was published during the height of the pandemic. These are among the rare NFTs minted by an Indian poet-artist and something that ought to be valuable for collectors.
In this collection, Ankur conjures up new words that are wedded to photos taken by him from around the world to bring new perspectives into play and freshen up scrubbed memories. Ankur believes such artwork can provoke, heal and rejuvenate. The images are intentionally kept at low resolution so as to lend equal importance to the words.
Ankur's intention is twofold: (1) to popularise poetry, not just in the domain of NFTs but in the wider world; (2) to be financially independent enough to focus on creating more poetry.
