Today, June 1st, the whole planet is celebrating World Children's Day to commemorate the Declaration of the Rights of the Child by the UN General Assembly. Currently, against the backdrop of war in Ukraine, it's especially urgent to do all our best to shield Ukrainian children from Russian bombs and missiles.
Thus, the Ukrainian web3 community came up with a charitable initiative, titled the Kids of War NFTs, to aid children who suffered from Russian occupiers. The collection consists of 200 unique kids' drawings, which were transformed into 10,000 NFTs. By minting yours, you get a life-changing opportunity to aid Ukrainian kids who urgently need help and protection.
Half of the proceeds from the collection sales and 100% royalty payments from future resales will go to the official Ukrainian charities, including Come Back Alive, as well as Voices of Children, and Spunbond.
The creative team behind the Kids of War NFT spent a month searching the web for the most outstanding art pieces drawn by Ukrainian children in times of war.
To participate in the drop, one needs to install the MetaMask wallet, add some Ethereum to it and click the Connect wallet button. Further, by clicking a Mint box, you automatically become the owner of a historic and socially-helping NFT. The NFTs will be minted in a blind-box format and will be revealed in your wallet after the mint is over.
