Following the launch of its genesis collection, NFT brand Kaiju is taking its non-fungible IP to the next level with a new game dubbed The Journals of Stod. The interactive gamified experience invites everyone to explore Stod’s lab.
The gaming experience will feature 25 unique, hand-crafted art pages that will be up for grabs for players throughout the journey. These art pages can be covered within several weeks as players progress through Stod’s lab. The Omnichain Adventure cuts across five blockchains, namely Ethereum, Avalanche, Optimism, Polygon, and Arbitrum. Gamers get to perform multiple decision-driven tasks that involve moving from one chain to another. Each chain has its own unique page featuring different art, with five possible outcomes for each level.
The Journals of Stod is accessible through the use of a Replicator or a Cassette. A Replicator is a multi-use NFT that grants players the ability to store and access any of the art pages that serve as the bedrock of the Kaiju Origins gaming experience. Holders of the Replicator NFT can also go back to previous levels as they see fit. The public mint for the Replicator token will occur between August 22nd to 24th, where each piece will be sold for 0.05 ETH.
The Cassette NFT is a single-use token that enables gamers to collect art pages while playing the game. However, to collect each art page, the previous page needed to be burnt. This makes it impossible for holders to return to previous art pages. The remedy is to get another Cassette collectible or a Replicator NFT. The Cassette token will be publicly minted from August 24th to 26th. Each piece will be sold for 0.0169 ETH.
