This project is the very first project that I am offering as part of wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww., a new online arts community.
wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. is intended to be a unique approach within the developing ecosystem of blockchain art and NFT’s. The aim is to garner engagement and to build a worldwide community fueled by creativity. NFT collections will eventually be built collaboratively, providing a sense of inclusion, whilst the structure of each collection will simultaneously provide a sense of uniqueness and exclusivity. With that vision in mind, I wanted to start big! But at the same time I had to deal with all the restrictions that typically come with being an independent artist - a lack of established industry connections and modest funding.
I was inspired by notorious starlets like Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and Marilyn Monroe, who always seem to command a crowd with just their image. I knew that this first collection should be simple, relatable, and forthcoming. So what better subject than my own self?(Besides, I’m not getting any younger!) The name "Invest In Me" also plays into the ethos I aim to instill in wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. - an ethos of willingness to put focus and energy into Individuals as they seek to apply their creative gifts towards their greatest potentials.
By purchasing a piece in this collection, the collector becomes one of the earliest participants in the wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. community. There are two images of me - a front and a rear. Each is divided into 2250 individual JPEGs of 40×40 pixels, totaling 4500 images of 1600 pixels each. The pieces are priced low because I want to attract people to the community - including other budding creatives - the kinds of people that will make this community lively and successful.
