More and more automotive brands join the NFT World. Each of them is trying to create something completely new to surprise the adherents of their brand and also surpass the competitors.
One of the most renowned car giants of South Korea Hyundai Motor is officially entering the NFT terrain with an exceptional project. Being a brilliant manufacturer, Hyundai Motor has built its own NFT universe called “Metamobility Universe'', proving that its craft isn't only about cars but also about a brand new Universe if needed. Just on April 19th, Hyundai Motor released a short film introducing its NFT universe, and to celebrate the premiere, the company partnered with awesome Meta Kongz to launch an NFT collection.
“We are extremely excited to introduce ‘Metamobility’ through our own NFTs and start this journey with ‘Meta Kongz’,” said Thomas Schemera, Global CMO of Hyundai Motor.
However, let’s talk about the film first. This is a 54-second short clip called “Hyundai x Meta Kongz” featuring an iconic Meta Kongz gorilla driving a classic Hyundai PONY from Earth to the Moon.
After jumping high into the sky, the classic Hyundai PONY transforms into a Heritage Series PONY. Later, when Kongz lands on the moon, he notices that there’s a star-like object stuck on one of the car’s wipers. And here is the point where the intrigue is growing. The clip ends by teasing the upcoming drop of a shooting star-shaped NFT in May.
“This is not about a gorilla in a robe with goggles. It’s about a new level of connecting ideas,” – the post on Hyundai’s Twitter account reads.
Regarding the NFT collection dropping on April 20th, Hyundai together with Meta Kongz will issue a special NFT collection, featuring 30 limited-edition collectibles. The holder of one of these NFTs will get a bundle of Hyundai official NFTs (an amount comparable to the minting price) when Hyundai and Meta Kongz launch their official NFT collection in May 2022.
The team will continue dropping NFT projects throughout the year to expand the Metamobility Universe. They will use profits from the sale of Hyundai NFTs for the project’s management and community members!
