PROOF, the collective behind Moonbirds, is set to release the fourth season of its Grails collection of digital art. Grails IV, a series with a mysterious touch, features 20+ artworks from 20 talented artists whose identities will remain hidden until the minting for their artworks is finished. At the end of the mint, PROOF will hold a Live Artist Reveal event that will showcase intimate interviews, behind-the-scenes, and artist commentary.
Shifting from the usual 7-day minting period during the previous seasons, Grails IV comes with a shorter minting window of just four days from August 7th-10th with a max supply of 1,075 NFTs.
Minting a Grail requires a Grails IV Mint Pass, which will be airdropped to PROOF Collective NFT holders on August 1st. Moreover, Moonbirds who have hit the Diamond Nest tier during the Mint Pass distribution will be entered in a raffle for a Mint Pass. Overall, 25 winners will be selected. Other ways to win a Mint Pass will be announced soon as well as you can buy them on the secondary market.
A post-mint live reveal event will take place on August 11th, where collectors will discover the participating artists of this season and the creators behind their Grails.
There are several benefits attached to holding a Grail. Holders gain access to the Grails channel in the PROOF Discord to engage directly with artists and PROOF collectors. Moreover, holders can attend future Grails-centric online and real-life events and create a Collector Profile on PROOF's dedicated website.
The hallmark of this season of Grails is the introduction of generative artist collections using the Art Blocks engine. In addition, there will be an in-person exhibition at Foundry by PROOF in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles.
