On August 15th, self-taught photographer and graphic designer Elise Swopes drops her NFT Collection on Nifty Gateway.
Elise has been taking pics with her iPhone since 2011. The hallmark of her artworks is that she transforms original images into incredible surreal artworks using an array of mobile apps.
‘Anything is possible with a little imagination.’ – is written on Swope’s BIO on Twitter. Looking at her artworks, we can make sure that this phrase makes sense.
To create pieces for her upcoming drop on Nifty Gateway, Elise travelled to six different cities: New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Portland, Denver, and Chicago. As Elise has been using giraffes in her art for many years, Elise decided to support a conservationist in Somali, donating 10% of sales.
“I’d then promote giraffe displacement, conflicts, and more by displacing myself from where I’m most comfortable: home.” – says Elise.
Six 1/1s and ten editions of six will drop within the collection on August 16th. The winners of 1/1s will receive a three-day trip to the city they bid on, a private conversation with the conservationists, a Moment photo kit, and a BTS video of Elise’s adventure.
