The goal of this collection is to make the identities of French departments live on the blockchain. Each NFT corresponds to one of the 100th French "départements", and incorporate its map, its coat of arms, and its name.
Coat of arms and map of each piece is much more than an image, it reflects the history and geography of France.
French “départements” creation is one of the key steps in French history to "decentralize" French power. Power user to be concentrated in Paris and creating departments and capitals (Préfectures) was a great step towards decentralization.
What more natural as a next step to push this decentralization and share the ownership of those deparment symbols on the blockchain ?
