terraprojected is a duo of archival photographer and land artist by Ramazan Alatas and Gulsun Demir. It creates artistic interventions on lands and photographs the changes. The duo continues the transformation of these material with experimental art practices by moving the data they have obtained to the digital environment.
Fragments of the Act of 88 unique 1/1 pieces is trying to depict the changing perception the art by human who transformed environment.
The duo based from the land art performances they have performed before. They used multicolour sheeting on earth in their performances and exposed it to effects such as light, water, soil minerals and photographed the change. The color codes taken from the photos created the color palette of the collection. The artist duo relocate the material take by nature to digital art, which they define as an experimental method of expression.
