NarsCosmetics joins the game, dropping its first-ever NFT Collection on NFT marketplace Truesy. The beauty brand releases NFT pieces inspired by Nars’ famous Orgasm product line on 31 July, which is National Orgasm Day.
Nars asked three female-identifying artists – Nina Kraviz, Sara Shakeel, and Azéde Jean-Pierre to reinterpret the brand’s iconic, peachy-pink shade that started a global sensation.
“This is not a revenue-generating opportunity. The goal is to create a really interesting, creative experience around a core and iconic product” – says Dina Fierro, Nars VP of global digital strategy and social engagement.
A video of a mouth with sparkling lips by Sara Shakeel, titled ‘Consume me’, is free.
Jean-Pierre’s NFT is priced at $50 and includes limited edition products from the “Orgasm” line. The most pricey is DJ Kraviz’s NFT which debuted for $500.
