We aim to set a new precedent with charities via blockchain, whereby participants can actually check on the results of their charitable funds. In our case, every purchase of a Drinking Tree directly funds efforts to plant new trees in essential ecosystems in need of reforestation. 10% of all proceeds go to planting trees with the One Tree Planted charity group. By owning a drinking Tree NFT, users are granted access to check on the trees planted as a result of their purchase.
The Treeverse - A Metaverse Forest
Owning a Drinking Tree NFT grants you access to the Treeverse. The Treeverse is a metaverse virtual reality experience where users can see a representation of the trees they helped to plant. Users can make in-game purchases to plant more trees in the Treeverse, the funds of which allow them to be planted in real life by the charity!
The Treetavern - A Tavern for Drinking Trees
The Treetavern is a social space for trees on the decentralized “Tavern” app. Tavern will allow easy onboarding and access to the Treeverse, as well as serve as a place of gathering and recognition of users and their trees planted. For example, a username may appear as “(Username) | 10 Trees Planted”, a number that automatically updates based on how many trees a user has helped to plant.
