256 unique 1/1 video works. Each piece is a singular artifact. No two are alike in composition, motion, or texture. Each of the 256 pieces captures a moment of real time doom scrolling, raw feed footage fed through data moshing and feedback loops until the noise becomes signal.
Doom Scroll started with a breaking point. The realization that the algorithm had become a curator nobody asked for. Feeds full of content designed to trap attention, not reward it.
Instead of logging off, ThankYouX did something different.. he recorded the scroll. Then he destroyed it and rebuilt it as art.
