Photographic image, digitally reworked by hand
2026
"Diluve" continues my research in post-photography, exploring the shift from representation to materiality, where the image becomes a substance in its own right.
Worked by hand, layer by layer, photographs are transformed and recomposed like pigments on a painter’s palette. The process does not seek to erase the real, but to displace it, allowing forms to drift between recognition and abstraction.
Rather than depicting the world as it appears, "Diluve" explores what images can become.
