This collection represents an intersection between a traditional art mediums and generative art. To create these pieces, a picture from a collection of 5 of my favorite traditional art pieces was provided as an input to generative art code that I developed.
The code then "derived" digital representations of each piece using a collection of shapes. Shape types, sizes, and positions (among other attributes) are randomized, resulting in digital representations ranging from recognizable to abstract. The mix of random variables ensures that each piece is truly unique.
The intent is to create pieces that appeal to traditional art enthusiasts as well as those who appreciate the randomness and emergent patterns produced with generative art. Limited to 100 unique NFTs.
