The Cosmic Creatures art collection comprises imaginary animals that we might encounter one day in a faraway galaxy.
Artificial intelligence created a rough outline for each piece. I used this outline as a starting point to create unique print artworks of these non-existing animals. These NFTs are a special edition of the print artwork. They contain subtle animations.

Background story
Technology developed fast in the 21st century through advancements in AI. This led to discoveries that were previously thought impossible, like long-term stasis and massive spaceships traveling at near light speed.
In the year 2136, humanity encountered another intelligent species for the first time. Aboard the Earth starship ‘John McCarthy’, an AI and a human artist work together to draw artistic impressions of every known cosmic creature. These impressions are sent back to Earth for cataloging and are now available for all.
