THE BACK STORY:
The year was 1986 and the setting was a small, polluted, isolated lake near Chernobyl. The isolation meant that the small community of seahorses on the lake had no predators, and as a result they multiplied very quickly. Radiation from the near ruins of the nearby nuclear power plant caused the seahorses to undergo strange mutations, causing them to change colors and pick up human waste that was thrown into the lake. For now, all is well in the seahorse community, but no one knows what the future holds..
