Conchários is a nft series composed of 13 different arts by brazilian artist Gabriel Gariba. presented from images captured and digitally processed, its motivation is the investigations that the artist started during his life in the coastal region, composed of beaches and sambaquis scenarios. The elements of the project are shells, rocks and the various natural debris found in the sand of the beaches.
When exploring the potentiality of images, conchários reveals unimagined landscapes, generating new textures and formats in common images. with the use of computer graphic techniques, the artist works different angles and perspectives of the same documented material. conchários is a thinking about the image, a photographic experiment that combines, from the micro and macro perspective, the concepts of preserving memory and the relationship with nature, with the possibilities of stimulating the senses and the feelings.
