In recent years, a new holiday has been added to the calendar of many countries in the world. It’s not even enough to call it “a holiday” because this is an entire month of celebration. You might guess that we are talking about Pride Month which is celebrated throughout June. Rainbow flags are waved on the streets, marches and other events are held around the world to draw public attention to the problems and needs of the LGBT community, as well as to celebrate what has already been achieved within years.
NFT Realm doesn’t stand aside and also joins the celebration of Pride Month. Various brands and artists have launched their NFT collections to honor this important event as well as show their belonging to the occasion.
Coca-Cola is one of those brands that took up the initiative. It launched the NFT series, dubbed The Coca-Cola Pride collection, made in collaboration with Rich Minsi. The series features 136 digital collectibles with the main intention to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. Each NFT is an exclusive transformation of the iconic Coca-Cola bottle, ‘aiming to shine color-filled light on the community’s members and spread a message of Love.’ The uniqueness of each bottle is proved by an exclusive design made by Rich Minsi that was figuratively and literally sliced into individual fragments and dispersed across all 136 Coca-Cola NFTs. Coca-Cola Pride NFT collection is being minted on the Polygon Network (MATIC) and is now available on OpenSea.
All proceeds from initial and secondary sales will be donated to the LGBTQIA+ community organization, OUT which provides people in South Africa with both physical and mental health care.
