Nestlé is a large company with tens of directions, one of which is the production of cereals. To celebrate the launch of its TRIX Breakfast Cereal brand in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA), Nestlé decided to release only two extremely rare TRIX Globe NFTs. It's worth noting, that those two NFTs are just the beginning of TRIX bunny's adventure in search of the "world’s fruitiest cereals while exploring Dubai for the first time."
TRIX is a fruity-flavoured breakfast cereal, which comes in fruit-shape pieces. TRIX rabbit has been delivering the most delicious whole-grain cereal breakfasts rich in calcium, zinc, and B vitamins since the 1950s. TRIX aims to ‘Put the fun back into breakfast,’ now, as NFTs.
The two globe-inspired NFTs in motion showcasing Dubai’s skyline have been put up for auction on OpenSea, which will last until May 13th. The first NFT features the iconic Dubai's "Burj Khalifa" skyline, while the second depicts the jaw-dropping skyline of "Museum of the Future.” By the way, the initiative is 100% charitable, with all the proceeds to fund Emirates Red Crescent Charity.
“In line with our promise for ‘Better Lives,’ we are proud to launch the first blockchain-based initiative in the region aimed towards a humanitarian cause with full proceeds of the TRIX NFTs auction going to the Emirates Red Crescent,” said Emilien Mesquida, Business Executive Officer, Cereal Partners Worldwide, Middle East & North Africa in the press release.
According to Bahaa Boumona, a brand ambassador at Cereals Partners Worldwide, these NFTs are the best evidence of how “daring and adaptable” the brand is. Above all, Nestlé is a pioneer in web3 among other cereal manufacturers.
While both NFTs were put up for auction with a starting bid of 0.1ETH, now both have multiplied their floors up to 0.38 ETH and 0.36 ETH accordingly.
