Black Apes are relatives from Bored Apes. Jasmine aka “Jaz” has been in the NFT space and tried to bring Black Apes to finally get him to its undeniably cool and cute final form which is going to represent all Apes of the chain.
Black Lives Matter has had some degree of success but has never garnered the attention he truly deserved. While Black Apes is the primary character of jasmines creations — there are a variety of additional apes that are also just as cool..but those guys come later Black Apes are the next evolution of Ape and their gang.
The idea in turning these Black Apes into NFTs is to create an opportunity for the masses to become part of the Apes community and help in deciding the development, growth and direction of the Black Apes story and ecosystem. The 7089 number is chosen as it was Martin Luther King Jr. prison number and he is a symbol for equality and human rights for African Americans.
