aRarity is an NFT project based on the Avalanche blockchain that will be launching on 29th October 2021.
aRarity is inspired by the Loot Project, where we will be taking their concept and implementing our ideas & improvements on it.
Our unique change is that instead of specifically specifying an item such as “Ring of Fortune”, we will instead assign each NFT a rarity type such as “Uncommon” or “Rare”.
This level of abstraction is intended to allow any kind of “theme” from a medieval, wild west, or even modern-day RPG.
We also have a larger supply which leads to a bigger community of stakeholders, which will incentivize more developer activity.
Developers will set up their own “themed” NFT collection which will then be given out to aRarity holders based on the rarity type.
This will allow interested aRarity holders to immediately be stakeholders and also participate in the project.
We believe most of the initial development will be coming from aRarity holders who are already incentivized on seeing the success of aRarity.
We will also be issuing grants to further incentivize the initial development of aRarity.
The idea is to build a devoted community that intends to see the success of aRarity by supporting other projects building on top of aRarity.
By having such a community, we believe some projects will be keen on considering building on top of aRarity, simply because they will inherit a part of aRarity’s community who are essential stakeholders with economic incentives to be supportive of that project.
