Afrocentric is an African/Black pop culture inspired collection of rare pieces. We have put in months and months of work to get this project ready. All artworks featured are hand drawn/painted original creations of the artist Promise Abodunrin.
This collection features rare 1 of 1 artworks that are based on African and black culture, describing our socioeconomic norms and realities. This project is a blend between black history and the present day realities, and also a mental and character restructuring for greater accomplishments as a people. Hence, some of the artworks are based on strong black personalities that have used their voices and influence to fight for freedom and justice.
With this collection we also hope to finish off the tiny bits of indivual and sytematic racial discrimination still present against people of color. Some pieces are dedicated to helping less priviledged people get a head start in the direction of financial freedom.
