adidas Originals and Prada are two global trendsetters that are both rooting for technological innovations. With two cutting-edge collaborations under their belts, adidas and Prada step into the 3rd one, bringing “adidas for Prada Re-Nylon” collection of sneakers made of recycled plastic right into the Metaverse, curated by coder and crypto enthusiast Zach Lieberman.

The new collab dubbed "adidas for Prada re-source" is a never-before-seen sublimation of creator-owned and user-generated art, aimed at bringing fashion, design, and crypto under one roof. The major goal behind the project is to bridge the gap for a new community of creators to join the innovative world of web3.

The stellar collaborative project makes it possible for the devoted audiences to contribute their anonymized photographs to one patchwork NFT just for free. The community-sourced artworks will be minted as NFT tiles to be later compiled into a single mass-patchwork NFT by Zach Lieberman. Participation in the outstanding project is absolutely free, availing anybody willing with a chance to create and mint a pseudonymous NFT, starting from January 24

All the chosen ones will have to upload their photographs, using Zach Lieberman's craft filter. 3,000 contributors will be randomly selected to participate in the drop. Notably, 1,000 of the spots are reserved for holders of the adidas Originals "Into the Metaverse" NFT and a further 500 reserved for users who attempted to mint "Into the Metaverse" but never succeeded.

After uploading the photos on January 24, all the lucky ones will return to the website on January 26-27 to mint them as NFTs for free. The tokens will be processed using the Ethereum-friendly Polygon network.

The final 1:1 "adidas for Prada re-source" patchwork NFT will be auctioned off on SuperRare, starting from January 28 to January 31 to be later exhibited in the brands' flagman stores around the globe.

A majority of the proceeds from the auction go to Slow Factory, a non-profit organization aimed at education and the creation of inclusive communities. The latter part of profits will be allocated to the artist and community creators, marking adidas and Prada's latest large-scale journey to the Metaverse.
