Gareth Bale, the most expensive football player in history (£85.3 million for the transfer to Real Madrid in 2013) will drop his first NFT collection made in collaboration with DINES on Crypto.com on September 28th. After Lionel Messi’s drop in August, this will be the second football superstar to enter the crypto art space in 2021.
The rumor mill says this collection will contain posters illustrating the most iconic moments of Bale on the field, and some of these posters will be signed. Crypto.com, which this drop is exclusive to, does not share any details in this regard, only that this collection will be the first in the limited series.
DINES, who designed the NFTs with Bales, previously collaborated with such giants as Nike, Reebok, and EA Sports. He’s a co-founder and art director of an art studio in London called STUDIO BLUP which its customers, judging by their feedback, are super happy with.
